The BOS and its first COBOS!

Welcome to Bilevel Optimization Society webpage. After the acceptance of the creation from the Mathematical Optimization Society (MOS) in December we ran our first elections, and since January 2025, the BOS is officially running!

The Bilevel Optimization Society acts in accordance with its bylaws, and you can check them in the following link.

Since January 2025, we have our first Committee of the Bilevel Optimization Society (COBOS). The first COBOS consists of:

  • Chair: Alain Zemkoho (University of Southampton, UK)
  • Secretary: Johannes Thuerauf (University of Nuremberg, Germany)
  • Treasurer: Margarida Carvalho (Université de Montréal, Canada)
  • Webmaster: Victor Bucarey Lopez (Universidad de O’Higgins, Chile)

We are grateful to the founding committee:
